Πραγματοποιήθηκε η 2η Scype συνάντηση με την Δήμητρα Ερμείδου από την Φιλαδέλφεια των ΗΠΑ. Η Δήμητρα παρουσίασε το έργο της Συννεκδοχική Δημοκρατία που εξετάζει την τωρινή πολιτική κατάσταση στην Ελλάδα και τον τρόπο που οι θεσμοί της Δημοκρατίας δοκιμάζονται σε αυτή την δύσκολη περίοδο. Το έργο της απέσπασε το Βραβείο Grand Prize (Unrestricted monetary award)  in Dave Bown Projects – 7th Semiannual Competition  ( Curators:   Jeremy Adams, CUE Art Foundation, New York  Janet Dees, SITE Santa Fe David S. Rubin, San Antonio Museum of Art)

This project problematizes the adverse impact of the Western recession on democratic functions drawing from the illustrative case of Greece, where democracy is challenged by the loss of public rights in governmental politics. Working from a self-imposed exile in the wake of more globalized issues and manifestations of civic unrest, this work reconsiders the widespread presumptions concerning democratic values, questioning how democracy, the public sphere, and the role of the citizen might be redefined.
