Open Call for Applications for 2023 Ambassadors Fund for Summer Work Travel (SWT) Scholarship!

We are thrilled to share with you an exciting opportunity for Greek university students, who seek to gain professional experience in the United States. The application for the 2023 Ambassador’s Fund for Summer Work Travel (SWT) Scholarship is now open for Greece!

This year, for the first time, the U.S. Embassy in Athens will *offer 15 scholarships* for Greek university students, covering all their expenses for their SWT program in the summer of 2023.  The scholarships offer a unique opportunity for university students interested in building diverse skills — including in community building, media literacy, storytelling, and intercultural competencies – as well as traveling and exploring the United States and building networks with fellow students from the U.S. and around the world. The program is implemented by the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) and InterExchange and is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.

Greek university students who are interested in traveling and working in the United States over the summer months with a scholarship can now apply at: https://www.swtscholarships.org/ <https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.swtscholarships.org%2F&data=05%7C01%7CKoutsounanouIE%40state.gov%7C1357f3062a25489b967808dabd7cd0ee%7C66cf50745afe48d1a691a12b2121f44b%7C0%7C0%7C638030641031688152%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=IOvBrKjJK9IACJCy34pQyb%2FIcrHTQGPuohP%2BSpdHruQ%3D&reserved=0>
