“Graphic Ambulation’s-between art practice and art based research”

Graphic Ambulation is a perspective on the use of drawing in the walking art process. This presentation shows works made over 20 years, some of them crossing master and doctorate degrees, defining moments for the thought and practice of drawing in the landscape. In the narrowing between walking and drawing the concepts of locative gesture and locative emotions emerge as denominator of the creative process.

Miguel Bandeira Duarte is Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture, Art and Design, University of Minho, Portugal and he is currently visiting UOWM under the Erasmus+ Exchange Program.
